Just when you think life sucks.

You find out your dear friend is finally responding to her second bone marrow transplant (thank the gods and keep sending that healing energy).

You find out one of your longest friends, eldest daughter was in a serious accident, hit by a car while she was in a crosswalk.  Serious but stable.  I’m still trying to wrap my head around this one.

It makes all the issues with darling daughter seem minor.  Which brings me to the excellent advice of a dear friend.  “There is a reason they tell you to but the oxygen mask on yourself first”.

I guess I need to find away to step back and let DD figure her life out.  This isn’t going to be easy, but on the other hand it makes more time for knitting so it cannot be that hard to do.

So the sun is up, the sky is blue and spring is on the way.
