DAD UPDATE:
Dad was released from the hospital today! The good news is that he’s over his bout with shingles, the bad news is that during his illness they did not pay close enough attention to his blood sugar and diabetes that he developed Occipital Neuralgia. This however can be treated with medication. We are hoping they treat him with pain meds and not steriods… remember my Mom is still on steroids. One could only imagine Thanksgiving dinner with “Rents on Roids” – let’s just say it would not be pretty.
